So i finally decided to give WeightCare a try. I been hearing about a lot through IG from SmallerSamPCOS. I’ve been following her journey for awhile now and felt encourage to give them a try. Especially since I just gained most of the weight I lost back. I just felt so defeated becasue I worked so hard to lose it and its likeI gain it back without much effort. The curse of being an endomorph -_-.
Anyways, I just started this Tuesday. So far so good. I’m taking 0.25 mg (17 units) per week. I have had side effects such as nausea, lack of hunger, and mild headaches (could be mainly from my allergies tho). I tend to forget to eat so I am trying to stay on top of meal prepping for the week or just in general.
My starting weight is 261.6 pounds. My 1st goal weight is 200 pounds, then eventually 160 pounds. Slow and steady is the way to go for me. I know it won’t probably happen in a year so I am bracing myself to really commit to just being consistent and ignore the scale and take body measurements. That was more accurate during my journey 2022 to 2024. Late 2025-early 2026.
I had basically gained all the weight I lost over those previous years in a few months due to depression, chronic stress, major life changes, etc. I felt so disappointed in myself in more ways than one. I knew I need help with weight loss meds but when I first was looking into glp-1s, I saw that it would be like $200 a month. Way out of my budget. So when I first heard of WeightCare I just didn’t even look into it.
Then this year I finally had enough and wanted to at least be able to educate myself on the actually cost and what I should expect. What I didn’t know was that I could use affirm to pay for it. I been using affirm for years so I had built my spending power up quite a lot lol. So I had more than enough to use it to buy my glp-1 with it. Then because I have a good standing with Affirm, my 1st payment wasn’t due until the following month . Plus, when you have order that are over a certain number in cost, you’ll get longer repayment options. I went with a 18 month plan and bought 6 month supply of semiglutide from WeightCare. I used the discount that they had and got $300 off of my order. It only applied to the 3 and 6 month supplies. I wanted the 12 month but the code didn’t work for it s I settled to using the 6 month one.
I am excited for this journey and ready to start seeing results in the coming months. I will be updating periodically on here. Wish me luck!
